Memorial Day did not go quietly by for our RCCS families. We participated in the Beloit parade with a float, distributing candy and information about our school to those in attendance. Kimberly Fielder and Ruth Osinga represented RCCS on the American Legion Post 48's truck in the Memorial Day Parade. Following the parade, the girls read their first and third place essays in a Memorial ceremony at East Lawn Cemetery.

The link to the graduation live feed can be found on the school home page. Graduation begins at 1 p.m. today.

We strive to teach our students to be involved members of our community. This year that looked, in part, like collecting items for Willow Women's Center.
Here is an excerpt of their letter concerning our donation:
"Just wanted to acknowledge that I received your very generous donation of diapers, wipes, onesies and other essential items for our diaper program.
We are so blessed with the support from our communities for this service that is so beneficial to residents of our community.
Our clients remind us at every pickup time how blessed they are that we can help provide diapers and wipes. I wish you could hear the comments we receive from the moms and dads that stop by. Below please see a picture of all the goodies I picked up today. A big THANK YOU to all your students and staff that contributed to this."

If you live in the Beloit school district, please check your student's backpack for bus reimbursement documents on the last day of school. These forms must be filled out and sent to the Beloit School District by June 5th.
