Flannel Day and Christmas Hair--2 dress-up days down, 3 to go before Christmas break! For more pictures, visit https://photos.app.goo.gl/mndWbJnjGTgQBPQ46

For many years, Rock County Christian School has asked our families and staff to skip giving Christmas presents to each other, and instead give towards a special project. This year we are collecting donations for a special RCCS family in need. We have two more days to give.
Our goal is to raise $1500, which is approximately $5.50 per student/faculty member.
If we reach our goal, both campuses will have a non-coordinated dress day (meaning you can wear your favorite shirt!).
On top of that, the campus that raises the most money earns the right to pick a faculty member and make that person do something crazy (but probably not too crazy).
We only have a short window to collect (Tuesday, December 14 through Thursday, December 16). Checks can be made payable to RCCS with "Christmas giving project" in the memo. Thank you for helping us help this family!

Just a reminder that tonight's scheduled Christmas concert has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a date in January. In the meantime, please enjoy this reminder of the reason for the season! Merry Christmas!

After learning about some babies in the old and new testaments, Rock County Christian School's grade one collected baby food as a community service project. This year it was donated to Janesville's House of Mercy. It was warmly received, and a grateful thank you letter arrived back at RCCS addressed to "Mr. Bartz and the Wonderful Class of First Graders."
The last paragraph of the letter read, "Many thanks for your wonderful donation of baby food items. Because you cared, many babies will have full tummies and a smile on their faces as your food items are shared with families who need a helping hand."

The RCCS Eagles tournament scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled and will be rescheduled. Any home games next week (December 6-10) will require a mask for all fans to enter. Players and coaches will be exempt.

7th & 8th grade boys' basketball practice starts Monday, November 29, at the Janesville Campus. Practice is from 3:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. All students must have a sports' physical on file in the school office before practicing or playing in any games. Cost is $90 for the season and should be paid by Friday, December 3.
We are still looking for a coach for the 5th and 6th grade boys. Please contact the school immediately if you can help!

Tuesday, November 23-- It's a Spirit Wear day at both campuses! Wear your jeans and your RCCS wear to celebrate the last day of school before Thanksgiving break. Break is Wednesday, Nov. 24-Fri. Nov. 26; classes resume Monday, Nov. 29.

Second graders delivered Thanksgiving blessings today to our neighbors as part of the Janesville campus fall service project. Other classes will get their opportunity to spread cheer next Monday and Tuesday. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Tonight's games are still on, but our Lady Eagles will play first, at 4:30 p.m., followed by JV and Varsity Men. Please spread the word!

Join us tonight in the Beloit gym as the Rock County Eagles take on our favorite rivals, Oakhill! It all starts at 4:30 p.m. with the JV Men's team, followed by Varsity Ladies, and ending with the Varsity Men. So get out your spirit wear and help us fill the gym with red! Admission is $1 for students, $2 adults.

Thank you to all our veterans!
Special Veterans' Day chapels were held at both campuses on Wednesday, November 10.
Students at Beloit heard from John Boudreaux, who has served over 30 years in the armed forces.
Mr. Bartz taught the elementary students all about the different branches of the military and how we can pray for them. The kids also enjoyed our special Wall of Veterans, which fills our gym with stars highlighting the names of military friends and family members of our students. The Wall may be viewed tonight during Parent/Teacher conferences. For more pictures, please visit https://photos.app.goo.gl/gd7ieQLSC7wX8QU18 .

Second graders are working hard, kindergarten is a sweet as pumpkin pie, and we're still working on kindness at RCCS. See more pictures at https://photos.app.goo.gl/JXqVQ1VwQmh5v7p27 .

What happens when you cross a book with a pumpkin? You get some pretty amazing results! Great job, 3rd grade, on your very creative creations. See all our pumpkin projects here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/hp8oPdQHD3tgw27o6 .

Installation of Insulation

If you are able to help, please contact via email mkaminski@rccs.us and let her know what date (or dates) work for you. Thank you in advance for your interest and help!
